Warehouse Assistant – 4

PURPOSE:

To serve customers by loading and offloading of goods. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1.  Shall be responsible for loading of goods purchased by customers
2.  Shall offload goods received from port or from head office
3.   Shall serve as driver mate.
4. Shall perform artisanary duties by ensuring that all broken pallets are fixed and in good shape 
5. Ensuring proper packing to reduce breakages at the warehouse.
6. Ensure proper cleaning of the warehouse and its surroundings   
7. Assist the warehouse manager in stock taking.
8. Shall assist in physically checking all new stocks before offloading.  
9. Shall ensure rearrangement of broken tiles.
10. Locate and pull items for wholesale or retail customer orders, and perform other warehouse tasks.
11. Ensure compliance of safety protocols put in place in the work premises. 
12. Use forklift in loading bulk and route trucks daily or when required.
13.  Shall perform any other assignments that maybe assigned from time to time by the employer.

• Able to work under pressure and stressful situations.
• Ability to communicate and interact with colleagues.

EXPERIENCE.

No working experience is required.     

EDUCATION Secondary School Certificate or any Education certificate or SSCE
